Joya receives AGR seal of approval
The Swiss comfortable shoe manufacturer Joya has been awarded the seal of approval of Aktion Gesunder Rücken e. V. [Healthy back campaign, registered association] (AGR for short). The AGR Seal of approval exclusively awards products, which have been assessed as being particularly back friendly, by an independent testing committee, with experts from various medical fields.
The seal of approval, which the AGR developed with the two largest German back school associations, serves as the optimum guide for consumers when buying ergonomic products. Due to the strict testing criteria and the committee being filled with proven medical experts, the AGR quality seal enjoys a high level of acceptance in the medical community.

Board member of the forum Gesunder Rücken – besser leben e. V. [Healthy back – Better Living and Federal Association of German Back Schools] and expert in the AGR testing committee, Professor em. Dr. med. Erich Schmitt says: "The Joya sole concept convinced me as being back friendly, as a clear functional line can be seen on the structure of the soles. The very soft sole construction and the accompanying absorption counteract the negative effects of the hard, flat floor. The soft characteristic of the Joya soles ensures a proportioned instability on the heel, whereby the musculature in the foot, leg and body area is activated more, and posture coordination is required." Claudio Minder, Managing Director of Joya Schuhe AG, is delighted with the award. He says: "The whole Joya shoe range was rated as back friendly. This is new for the shoe industry. This also shows that our further developments in the last few years have paid off." What makes the Swiss comfort shoe so special is the special construction of the soft sole: "For us it is important that everyone feels comfortable in our Joya shoes, from the first step," explains Joya inventor Karl Müller.
